Therapy Sessions

Regular weekly sessions at your confirmed day and time are important for the therapeutic process.  Your therapist will need to be informed of holidays, breaks, and pauses from therapy at least one month in advance, along with a booked session for your return, to ensure that your block of time slots is reserved.   There may be exceptions for extenuating circumstances.

Ending your therapy is an important part of the therapeutic process and will need to be planned three weeks in advance of the final session. When you are ready to begin the process of working toward finishing your therapeutic journey, let your therapist know during a session.

Payments for face-to-face sessions 

Payment for the initial session is due at the time of booking. Payments for all ongoing sessions are due at the end of each appointment and are payable by cash, online banking transfer or PayPal.  Credit card payments can be made via PayPal. Upon payment, a receipt stampled paid is provided for your records.

Payments for Online Sessions 

Payment for the initial session is due at the time of booking. Payments for all ongoing sessions are invoiced and due three days in advance of each appointment.  To pay your invoice, click on the pay now button on your invoice. Bank card and credit card payments can be made via PayPay guest checkout. Invoices are marked paid and emailed to you upon payment.

Insurance 

Transitions does not bill insurance companies directly.  However, once payment is received, an invoice  stamped paid is provided.  Depending on your insurance company and policy, you may be able to turn in your paid invoice for reimbursement.

An administrative fee is invoiced for documents requested.  Fees are determined according the amount of administrative time needed and are billed at the regular hourly rate.

Rescheduling, Cancellations and Missed Sessions

Rescheduling may be possible, when there is a time slot available during the same week. However, this is not always possible. When this is not possible – and you choose to cancel your appointment, please refer to the cancellation policy.

It is important to note, sessions missed or cancelled with less than three full business days in advance, are charged as normal because it is not possible to fill these appointment slots with such short notice.  In the event of cancellations with serious and extenuating circumstances, a reduced fee may be considered. Further sessions can take place subsequent to the settlement of the bill.

Late payments may be charged, and subsequent payment reminders may be subject to possible administration fees.

Office or Online Sessions

Clients who generally have face-to-face sessions, and wish to switch to online sessions due to work travel or for personal reasons, may put in a request.
